I purchased this microwave 4 years ago and today of all days it stop working. i have purchased other item frigidaire that don't last long very disappointed .

We purchased this model FFCM1134LS about 4 years ago. Purchased it because it matches the oven, dishwasher, and frig. Has always worked great and gets used a lot with 3 kids. Went to heat up food and all of a sudden pressed start and all the lights went out. Not sure what happened but not happy that we only got 4 years out of it. I hope I can get some insight from company or someone reading reviews if this is a common problem or and easy fix. My wife is home with my 3 kids during the summer and we can™™t live without a microwave.

The Frigidaire FFCM1134LS is the ONLY microwave I have had to replace because it stopped working! My previous generic brand microwave was replaced only because the interior developed an unpleasant odor (the one before that one too), but it still worked flawlessly after 9+ years. This Frigidaire died after about three years of light-medium use.Despite the loud operating noise and vibration I was pleased with how well the Frigidaire FFCM1134LS microwave worked until... When you open the door, the fan turns on and the turntable starts rotating (would happen very, very sporadically). In addition to that now occurring 100% of the time, when you press start to cook the timer countdown starts but the microwave does not turn on.

Bought three years ago. Worked great until recently. A couple months ago it wouldn't shut off when the door was opened. Now after that was solved, it wont run anymore.

I love this microwave so much that I purchased it again. My first one went out after 3 years, but it gave me good service while it last. It heats up quickly and thoroughly. I hope this one last longer. This is a good match with my other Frigidaire appliances.

I am an elderly woman who lives alone. It would be nice to find appliances such as Microwave that has larger buttons and that maybe have light behind them so that you can see them. Eyesight is one of the things affecting the elderly and mine especially. Microwave works good otherwise.

My company purchased two of the same models and both stopped working due to a faulty door interlock switch. We had the first one for like a year and 3 months before it went out and the second one just went out last week. The microwave would still run even after the door was pulled open. I wouldnt recommend the microwave to anyone unless they fix this issue.

Overall this microwave meets my family expectations. The only defect is the plastic over the start button and stop already has started to peel and I purchased it less than a month ago

I bought this three weeks ago and am very happy with it so far. I am impressed especially because as far as I can tell there are no hotspots! Everything Ive heated up or cooked has been cooked through with no burned or underdone spots

Bought this several weeks ago and want to take it back. It is so noisy that it can be heard over the t.v. and through closed bedroom doors. The covering over the number pads is already peeling. DO NOT PURCHASE.

We like the microwave as it fits what we needed. It is too light weight and causes one to hold it in place to press the start button. Also the menu choices are rather hard to read in a dimly lit area and should glow or somehow be lit up when opening the door. Otherwise we really like the product. We also have a new Frigidaire gas wall oven that we really like as well.

My wife and I were looking for a no frills countertop microwave. Raise your hand if 99% of the buttons you push are ™add 30 seconds.™ Heats just fine, only down side is the noise level. Very loud as far as microwaves go including cooking and opening/closing door.

I have been very pleased with my microwave oven. The stainless steel design makes it very sleek looking and it blends in with other stainless steel products in my kitchen. The microwave is very easy to operate. At 1100 watts cooking is a breeze. For the price, this is a great microwave.

Purchased 1yr 3mo ago. Problems with it shutting off after 6mo. Now will shut off after several minutes of use every time. Frigidaire said they won™™t do anything to help because past year purchase date. 2nd problem with Frigidaire. Won™™t buy Frigidaire ever again.

This is the second one of the same model we have had. The lifespan is about two years with daily use and the amortized cost is about $5 a month so not a bad deal.

I have had a lot of luck with Frigidaire appliances and believe brand is important. It meets all my expectations. 1100 watts is best as most microwave instructions are based on that wattage.

We bought this to replace a microwave that stopped working disappointingly early on, in hopes that changing brands would also help with the longevity. It remains to be seen whether this microwave delivers on this, but in the mean time, it works just fine and we have no big complaints. The small complaint that keeps me from giving it a 5 star rating is that the controls aren't intuitive to me. I had to refer to the manual to figure out how to do the "one touch" settings and also how to set the timer. Other than that everything has been fine.

This microwave works great. No problems with it except the fact that it is a bit loud. I don't know if it's because I have it positioned on top of the refrigerator (no space on the counter!) and it seems louder this way or if it is because the microwave is defective. It does work perfectly and I haven't found a need to return it.

I purchased this on 9/12/14 and, although I do think that it is noisy, was pleased with the performance until 3/30/18. Three and 1/2 years is not a long time to have before an appliance stops working. The clock, timer and light work but it does not run. Very disappointed. We won't purchase another Frigidaire.

Nice looking stainless, small physical size with medium size cooking features. Downsized to small house...really appreciate the size of this microwave. Been using it for only 3 days. Seems to work fine. Very noisy...compared to large, expensive microwave. Feature I did not expect to be good: Potato button actually works...cooks nice, moist potatoes. Fresh vegetable feature is great. Numbers 1 - 6 are fantastic...push one of them, wala, microwave starts and cooks 1 to 6 minutes....depending on which button pushed. Big time saver. Was expecting to not like this microwave. Actually love it. Noise is minor when comparing the amount of counter space this stainless microwave uses. Some reviews say the light does not come on when opening door. As soon as I OPEN THE DOOR THE LIGHT IS ON....easy to see to wipe down inside of microwave. Light is on while cooking. Do wonder if it is normal for the outside of the microwave box to get really warm (can touch it, but if it gets any warmer it would be too hot to touch)....after cooking 2 large potatoes and a bowl of fresh vegetables. There is plenty of space on all sides of the microwave. Air space around the microwave is not a problem. If I notice it getting that warm again it will be time to phone the Frigidaire dealer.
