when i bought the stove i was told that the oven had fan. i thought great but it seems longer for the oven temp to reach the temp i want and it really makes my kitchen hot as the heat is coming out the front above the oven door. other then that it cooks very well

The stovetop on my new stove is so scratched it looks ancient. My old one was 20 years old and didn't have one scratch. You need to do something about this. Needless to say, I would never give this a good rating and will never buy another of your appliances unless you do something about thisAlso the readout is covered in cheap plastic. Should be glass!

I've had my new Frigidaire slide-in stove for about a month, and so far I love it! This was actually a floor model, which made me a little nervous, but I got a great deal and also took out the 3 year warranty (which was a great deal at Best Buy). I love the black flat top - never had this feature before, and it's been easy to clean. My husband loves the quick heat burner for morning oatmeal. Also love the roomy oven and bottom drawer for storing extra pans - another feature I have not had. The oven temperature is true and I've baked pizza, muffins and chicken with success. The only problem now is that I think I have to remodel my kitchen to go with my beautiful new stove!

I bought this about 7 months ago for our house that we built! I love the look of the stove! The glass-top surface is hard to keep looking clean even after wiping it after each use but other than that it's a perfect fit!

We love the oven and have owned it for over 10 years now. Unfortunately, as soon as the warranty period ended the control panel had to be replaced. The cost was ridiculous so we did it ourselves. Repair was easy but it was disappointing to have to do it in the first place. Now the door is locked after a self-clean and we are unable to open it. Is there a way to open the door without pulling everything apart?

I love this very amazing stove. The design is sleek and the lines are clean. I like that the fan comes on when I turn the oven on and that it stays on after the oven is turned off, allowing it to cool down much quicker. It's a plus in the summertime temperatures. And the oven light has two options: a manual on/off switch while the door is closed and the very convenient automatic turn on when opening the door and back off when the user closes the door. Extra kudos! The glass top is far superior to the element style range, with five different size options on the surface to allow the user to fit their individual cookware perfectly is an exceptional feature. Sadly, I had a bit of an issue with the drawer below. Its construction is on the weak/flimsy side because the framework is not made with heavier metal and is rather subpar, structurally. If the user finds the need to completely remove it, it is difficult to put back into its tracks. My contractor had to move the range to install a countertop. In putting the range back into its space, he removed the drawer to see what was hanging the install up (it was the power cord). He worked for upwards of 20 minutes to get the drawer back in. It never went back in. The end result was a highly tweaked drawer that now needs fixing or replacing. Something in the track was not allowing the drawer to slide in.

We purchased our new Frigidaire stove a few months ago in order to update our kitchen. We had old, white appliances prior to this purchase. We can not believe how sharp this stainless steal stove looks and how it improved our kitchen. I LOVE the flat top surface. NO MORE pulling out elements and buying new trays to clean. The flat surface is so easy to clean. I now have a bottom draw to store cooking pans in. The dials are easy to read. One heating element can be controlled to fit the size of the cookware you are using, by simply turning the dial in different directions. The oven controls are big and easy to read. While the oven is getting a LOT of use, we have not had to clean it yet, but it is a self cleaning oven and I am sure it will work great when we are ready to use it.

I bought it 2 months ago, and the stainless always looks finger printed and streaky. Hard to keep clean. Not sure if black would have been better. The top is much harder to clean as well, everything just sticks on and does not wipe off well. The stove I replaced was less maintenance.

It is very difficult to get used to the fan being on every time you are baking and broiling. My oven is 25 degrees cooler than it should be. I have tried to correct this and I was not successful so when a recipe calls for 350 degrees I set the oven to 375 degrees and it works just fine. Needed a new stove my old one was 28 years old!

I bought this stove right before Christmas. I am extremely pleased with how quickly the stove top heats water, cooks, etc. But i hate how easily the top scratches and it takes some elbow grease to keep the top clean. (I have the solid black top)Oven wise, it cooks fine but seems to take a long time preheating and cooling fan blows for a long time after oven is turned off.

I bought this range 2 years ago and the oven has never worked correctly. After five months of calling the store that I bought it from, they said it was working according to their temperature gauges. I wanted a different range and they refused. I cannot roast a turkey, or any large meat, as only half of the over works. The meat doesn't get cooked all the way through.

Purchased last June. Installed three months ago. The knob housing unit which is located less than one and one half inches from a burner is PLASTIC. Genius!!! We all know where this is going. Yes - a pan briefly hit the plastic so now I have melted plastic on the front of the stovetop. And it gets better. The cheap plastic is white with a black coating so the melt is white but it now MATCHES the front edge of the housing where the paint began to wear off immediately. And tough luck to me because it's a cosmetic problem. But of course they were so sorry and understood hoe I felt.

Have had trouble regulating the cooking temperature of the oven.Only had a couple of months. Already had to have technician out. Replaced sensor and the full control board. Still not working right. I had to go into system and adjust the factory set temperature. A little concerned when I can't even cook a frozen pizza correctly. What about a holiday turkey? A little concerned about baking Christmas cookies too.
