Fan comes on as soon as oven is set, stays on after oven is turned off. Not sure why, unless it is to disburse the heat - pretty sure this is not a convection oven. Looks good, and happy with the gas burners and grates.

Bought this a month or 2 ago through internet retail sight. it replaces an oven that i had for 5 years that crashed and burned manufactured by another manufacturer. hoping for the best with this more familiar brand. it has many less features but i am hoping the simplicity will add to the longevity. so far only issue is excessive volatile gases released during first few uses... otherwise this stove is adequate to date and would buy again if i knew it would present no problems in the coming years.

Missing Gap Trim Piece

Love the function and clean lines of this range! I just don't understand why the company doesn't INCLUDE the trim piece for the back when the range is packaged. Slide-in ranges never reach the back wall and you shouldn't have to wait on a backordered part for the installation to be completed. Yes, this IS about the product because it's incomplete without that part.

Purchased this unit to replace a defective model. Initial review indicated this model would meet my expectations. Instead the unit has problems that cause concerns. Major concern is that the unit makes a "poof" sound when the desired oven temperature is achieved. Unit is less than one month old. Will contact Frigidaire to further attempt resolution of this problem.

great gas grill meets all our needs

Have similar model before and really like the simple features. Love cooking with gas, reliable stove cooks evenly and overall like the look. Compared to past models iron grates aren't as heavy duty. Lighter weight is okay but looks a little second rate, unsure how they will hold up. Along same lines, the decals showing heat indicators for the range tend to wear off over time and repeated cleanings. Need something more durable as we clean after each use and from experience seen how they can wear off leaving you with a bad look not to mention missing important indicators.

High-Pitched Whine

We really enjoy using gas to cook with and this range is great! So why the 1-star? We have had it for nearly two months after moving into a new build. Every time we use the oven there is a high-pitched whine that is quite annoying and does not go away until the gas to the oven is stopped. The whine is not heard with the stove burners. The email requesting a review prompted me to look into potential causes/solutions. It seems likely that the gas pressure regulator in the oven is defective. We were not able to have the range inspected as the builder installed it just before closing citing concerns of contractors walking off with the unit. We

Don't block the vent!

This is the first Frigidaire stove I've owned as well as the first slide-in gas range. I love cooking with a gas stove and at first the oven worked perfectly. But then, it seemed that it was running too hot and cookies were burning after only being in the oven for 5 or 6 minutes. Before adjusting or recalibrating the temperature, we read the manual and learned that nothing should be blocking the vent (which is located in the back of the middle grate). Because this stove does not have a middle flame--just a grate, I had started to keep my tea kettle on the middle grate in the back. I didn't realize it was blocking the circulation of air and causing a temperature fluctuation. I moved the tea kettle off of the stove, and the problem was instantly solved!

Fully functioning stove/oven!

We had to replace our original (90s) oven/stove due to, well, many reasons! The oven no longer functioned and there was reduced gas flow to the stove top. We held on for awhile, but had to let it go. This range is beautiful and fully functional and so far ... rocks! I'm still learning the ropes as far as cleaning goes and interested in learning if there's liners for under the the plates on top (not sure what they're called) to help in the cleaning process, but will do more research. Overall - very pleased!

We have had it for almost a year and it has been great so far. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that the display broke after few months and it was replaced under warranty. It was very inconvenient because the hoven is controlled by the touchscreen display, so there is no other way to make it work. We could not use the hover for about 10 days waiting for the warranty service.

I got this range as part of a kitchen package with my new house. I find that the oven seems to bake things faster than the recipe calls for. I also find the cook top to be a bit hard to adjust the flame low enough to just simmer.

The burners are not very variable when trying to adjust the flame. They are more like high-medium-low. Also the broiler has been a disappointment even when trying to cook the meat located on the top shelf. The meat does not brown, more like warms it.My previous stove (another brand) was much superior. I purchased this as my current counter-top requires a slide-in with the "lip" that hangs over the edge.

The range has the basics I was looking for. Not a lot of fancy features that I would never use and that would just be something else to possibly break. It's exactly what I wanted and has lots of storage beneath the oven for storing pans. It looks great and the surface is very easy to clean.
