Nice frig, crummy ice maker

We have this unit in our new townhome. We like the frig except for the ice maker. Constantly running out of ice. The appliance company has been out twice and replaced the maker. I have changed the water filter 3 times in one year. Still can't make enough ice. 8 cubes in 90 minutes is not acceptable. I have a portable maker I took out of my motor home to supplement. It make 9 cubes every 6 minutes. Appliance company will not take it back even though we closed less than a year ago. Ticks me off!!John

5 Star Fridge with 2 fatal flaws!We bought this from our local Lowes store as we liked the look and its features. Unfortunately, the biggest weakness of this fridge is the one we use the most often and that is the water dispenser on the door. For some moronic reason the designers / engineers thought dispensing warm water was a great idea. Their response to having cold water was to add ice. Well that is the second biggest weakness of this fridge and their moronic design. The ice maker is loud and weak. It can™€™t provide enough ice for a family of 4 or even if you were single but planned on having company over!If you don™€™t require cold water or ice then this fridge would be great but you could save yourself hundreds of dollars and buy the one without water and ice.So now we are trying to find a replacement that actually dispenses cold water and has a gravity feed ice maker that provides enough ice like our KitchenAid did before it died!

Patheticly designed ice maker

After about 3 months of owning this unit we have had one of two issues over and over again either the water outlet freezes up and will not dispense water in to the ice tray or the ice area frosts up and starts causing interference with fan. This is now happening almost twice a month and is infuriating. I have dealt with this for two years now and will no longer be purchasing Frigidaire/Electrolux products.

I bought this in April 2019 and it has been a really good refrigerator. I like the features and it's a well made machine. I like the water and ice dispenser and there is adequate storage for all of our food. It has a very clean design and I like it better than others I've had in the past.

We moved in to our new home and the appliances have been great but for some reason periodically we hear a loud buzzing sound that sounds like a fan. It lasts for up 4 minutes then goes away. Besides that the refrigerator has been great. We are a family of 5 and like to keep our fridg stocked so the space is perfect for us!

This refrigerator is nice. Does what a fridge should do. Can be noisy when ice drop into college ruin container or when water is forced through the connection to make ice, but it is hardly noticeable after awhile.

But shelf configuration lacks a little from other models I™€™ve owned. At the year mark the ice maker started making a strange labored sound but has not stopped working. Doors have to be opened fully to pull out tray door which can be annoying.

With the ability to manipulate shelves in various ways, it is easy to accommodate a variety of sizes and shapes of items. The freezer provides good access so we do not find ourselves having to pull things out when looking for or accessing items toward the back. Our only complaint is that the tape used to hold certain things in place is impossible to get off. After 4 months we still have strips of green tape on the side of the ice compartment.

We have only had the refrigerator for about 3 weeks but so far are very pleased with it. Love the lighting inside and the size of the freezer as well as the door water/ice dispenser. My only complaint is that the ice maker makes so much nose but I am happy with the size of the cubes as well as the amount of ice it holds. Also until the home builders start making the doors wider than 36" the appliance makers have to keep their dimensions compatible. The installers had to remove all three doors to get the refrigerator into our house which was somewhat worrisome.

So far it's a great unit. Lots of space and really like the freezer on the bottom with plenty of room. l like how the unit lights up when the doors are open. Ice dispensers are small cubes but I like that.

I'm a shopper and I did spend about three days shopping before I found the right fridge and the right price at the right store. Yeah! That was 2 months ago. This is a well-made appliance with many features that I wanted, a smaller ice maker for instance, and the hydrator shelving layout along with doors is exactly what I wanted. Huge freezer compared to other vendors I looked at. Beautiful designs in the exterior as well. Couldn't ask for more, would buy it again.

We have owned this model for about 4 months. Incredible amount of space in the refrigerator and freezer. One feature that has been very useful is the fold up shelf. So far no challenges with the ice supply amount. It has kept up fine.

I think it's a beautiful refrigerator and I enjoy it. However, the ice maker is to be desired. Unfortunately it doesn't make ice fast enough. Other than that, it is a great product. If you don't need ice frequently it's a wonderful product.

My intentions were to replace a double wall over that was not working and ended up purchasing the wall oven and refrigerator as a matching set. The refrigerator has plenty of room and many adjustments to shelves to quickly adapt to different size items. I wasn't excited about getting an ice maker and water in the door unit but, have found it to be used much more than I would have expected and it works well.

This refrigerator came with my other Frigidaire Gallery appliances as a set. It looks very stylish and has tons of features. It also is very roomy. Hands down, this is the nicest refrigerator I have ever owned. The freezer section is very large with lots of room on two levels. It even has a thin, vertical pizza section. The shelf also has an adjustable divider that can slide back and forth. There are really too many features to list. For the price, this refrigerator can't be beat.

Love the look of the new fridge and all the space in the upper section but the freezer section does not hold as much as my old side by side. Also, the icemaker makes about 2 cups of ice in a 24 hour period. We have to purchase bags of ice so we don't run out!
