I changed out the air vent hose before connecting it to the dryer. When I first used the dryer the air vent light came on nonetheless. But using the dryer the second time the air vent light turned off. I did not determine what the problem was and I did not find any obstructions in the vent hose. It all seems to be working well now.

Lowes suggested that we call a Whirlpool service provider to fix. End cycle notification noises are very obnoxious.. on either of the selections. Whirlpool refrig. just crapped out after 4 yrs. Won't buy Whirlpool again.

So far I like the way my unit drys my clothes. I almost purchased a unit that would not have fit in the area I needed to place it in. This one did fit and had the same drying capacity as the other units. It takes up less room which leaves space to place other things in the space. Also dries well.

Always a Great Choice

I've been buying all Whirlpool appliances since I first got married which is over 35 years now. My first washer/dryer lasted over 20 years and they were still working when I replaced them with front loaders. They lasted for at least 15 years and replaced my washer a few years ago and just replaced my dryer with this one. I love everything about whirlpool and just bought a new refrigerator as well. Will be in the market for a microwave, stove and dishwasher in the next 6 months as I'm remodeling my kitchen for my disabled Veteran husband who needs more room to move around with his disabilities.
