Not totally happy with this stove. The burners are not easy to adjust. When turning from a high heat to a low heat the element stays high for way to long. Second problem, the oven temperature is not accurate, off by at least 40 degrees. So™¦.. not so great.

I have been using this range that was already installed in our home we purchased a year ago. The stove top feature of one small element within a large element is great. The oven heats well and cooks/bakes food accurately

The main difficulty I™™ve experienced with this range is oven bake temperature isn™™t what I™™ve input so I need to keep a careful eye on anything I™™m baking. Typically the oven temp is about 20 degrees below the temp that has been set. This issue started in its second year.

Just days before Xmas, our oven stopped working. The stovetop was fine but the oven stayed cold. Repairman came and determined that the part and labor to fix it would be over $400! I could have had a new oven for about $150 more! However, it was Xmas and I needed a working oven as quickly as possible and the repair was faster than getting a new oven delivered. Anyway...I was not happy to have to replace the motherboard in less than 3 years of use.

This range came with my home when I purchased it 5 years ago, and overall it has been great. Unfortunately, over the last 1.5 years, the burner that I use the most (front right large burner) only seems to have two functioning temperatures anymore. Anything below almost medium is not scalding and burning, and anything above the medium is hot hot HOT. I have to turn the burner off completely and turn it to a simmer temperature, or completely use a different burner™¦. Which is a bit annoying when cooking large meals.

The overall experience is positive despite having some issues with range knob which failed at some point. So, I had to replace a surface element switch to get it fix. Other then that it easy to clean, and maintain while under a medium to heavy usage.

I bought this Whirlpool electric range 5 years ago. The front right burner is acting up already. After I use it on a high heat setting, the burner stays on high heat even after I turn the know down to low.

I had to replace this range due to a faulty main board which would cost almost the same as a new range. This should not have happened with only 5 years on the product. Go back to the simple design where replacing a part did not cost so much to repair. A simple wood stove is looking better all the time.

I bought my electric range about a year ago and have used it as directed and it has already stopped working. I heard a click/crack sound when I turned the oven on and smelled a burning metal smell (with nothing in the oven) and now the oven nor the electric stove top works at all... Very disappointed in this product.

I have had this electric range for less than 3 years. I had to have my broken oven door latch replaced. Now i have one burner that stays on high all the time no matter where i set temperature control. I also have a mysterious chip that suddenly appeared on stovetop. This is absolutely the worst electric range i have ever bought.

This range came new with the new house I purchased in January 2016. The oven takes a while to heat, and the cooktop can overcook food due to residual heat. It worked well enough until this this year when it started emiting a burning odor while using the range top. The range and oven were completely cleaned of the little debris that had accumulated but this didn't stop the odor. Next the unit was pulled out, disassembled for inspection (nothing found) and checked for odor again. The odor is still present. On top of this one of the cooktop switches was found to have burn marks when the unit was disassembled to check & clean. The switch was replaced, but that has not stopped the odor either. I have bought an portable induction cooktop to use instead of using the range top. I now only use the oven, and am currently searching for a replacement range.

This stove came with my new house and I've lived here less than 1 month so have used oven once and stovetop once. Both times I couldn't get much heat -even though the electrician checked and said the appliance is getting the correct voltage. Apparently I need to read the manual.

This range might be worthy of 5 stars, but I just bought it, so ...
For characteristics that could be subject to change over time, I rated 4 stars.
One absolute requirement was for the cook surface to have some texture.
The last time I purchased a range, I bought shiny black - it only looked good
immediately after cleaning using cook top cleaner. Could not even boil water
without making that surface look dirty.
We likely cook less than average, but still looked for one with self-cleaning.
Would have liked to have a warming burner, but that would've brought the price
up a couple of hundred, so not worth it to us.
We had to purchase on relatively short notice. The old range was damaged during
remodeling.
This was the best low-to-mid range priced range we could find within 25 miles.

This model WFE515S0ES1 really is a piece of appliance I promise, I wouldn't take it if was given to me FREE. I put it on high as we are in a hurry, for just the water to start boiling it takes forever as I need to lift the pot, put it back down lift it again and again and again. What a piece of not desired appliance as the salesman said nothing about it working that way? At my Mom's home, she has a different brand but it has coils not a glass top type, but it's great! I don't mind cooking with that stove but not with this, as it's like inconsistent as you can never be sure how long you're able to leave and maybe take a shower. It'll either beat less cooked than expected or burnt....as I've used it around 25 times in almost 3 years. Gary and Brandy 2 Rokuta as Brandy 2 is my golden retriever that suffers because of this stove not working like how a stove is supposed to.

We purchased this oven a little over a month ago and we couldn't be happier with it's performance! It's bakes perfectly and I just love the stovetop. I also really like how much stainless steel is on the front. Many of the other ranges we looked at seemed mostly black which isn't the look we were going for. Also, the raised lip around the edge keeps spills contained and therefore easier to clean. We bought this Whirlpool range to replace our first Whirlpool range and we are glad we went with Whirlpool again!

This oven and stove-top is nice. It works well. I do wish it had a keypad to enter the actual temperature I need instead of me having to press the up or down button to get to the temp I need. I also wish it had a light for each "stove top hot" burner so I know which one is hot.

I bought this stove over a month a ago. The looks were to my liking and fit in perfectly in my kitchen area. So far the only disappointing feature is that it seems it takes a long time for oven to heat up and the food takes longer to cook.

Love this new range. It came as part of a package in my brand new house.
I do wish that the storage drawer was a little sturdier.
