Was in new condo we purchased. From beginning needed to troubleshoot. Now stopped working completely. Door will not unlock even after calling for help at Whirlpool. Service is coming on November 15 2019.

Bought this a year and a half ago. Not my favorite washer. I have always left the door open after using, and the liner is filled with mold and smells horrible. It washes satisfactorily, but doesn't have enough options. And when you add the detergent, don't leave the door ajar. I went to get another garment, came back and the soap had dispensed, run down the open door and onto the floor!

Save your money. I lived with it for a year and a half and ready to give it the heave ho. Clothes don't get enough water to get clean, no adjustable wash load size, and enough bleach is retained in the delivery mechanism long enough to ruin colors washed after the bleach load. We are replacing it with a used machine made before all the H/E madness. Wish I had never bought this.
A technician examined it, did his troubleshooting and testing, and said it was operating as designed. I can only conclude it is poorly designed. How efficient is a washer if you have to run it twice with double rinse to get to any semblance of clean???

I called to ask whether this would be ADA compliant, as stated below in the specs, and was given the answer by "Sarah" that this is not listed as an ADA compliant appliance in their "internal list". She would not even clarify that the compliance was met by means of use of a pedestal. Then she had no answer as of why the statement on the website was false, and which one should have I trusted as true for a real ADA compliant appliance. Is this professional?

I bought this machine in February 2019, it does not spin out alot of the time, had a guy from Whirlpool come out and he said the way the machines are made with the smaller computers causes these issues, i miss my old set, this new set it not worth the money i paid

It worked well for the warranty period of 1 year and 1-2 months later the screen stopped working most of the time & the washer occasionally gets stuck in a cycle & needs to be restarted.

The machine worked perfectly but we required technical service because unusual noises and to replace a part. Technical service was not as good, required two visits for the same problem, the part was replace but the noise is still happening.

My machine was new November 1, 2016 and it quit working totally June 11, 2016 - 2 1/2 years. Replacement parts about $400 plus labour - not worth it so have to buy a new machine. Has had door lock and drainage issues for over a year.

This machine washes clothes quietly and is perfect to wash clothes any time of the day unlike other washing machines. It has many features and makes an average amount of noise when the wash cycle is done. The wash cycle signal is not obnoxiously loud like other machines. Great product! Would recommend everyone to buy. Great machine, that washes cleanly and efficiently.

Purchased washer & dryer set Jan. 2017, by end of warranty period washer was making loud noises. Warranty service required at least 4 visits, with last visit replacing the entire drum assembly and motor due a bolt broken off in the drum drive shaft (basically the entire mechanical internals of the washer had been replaced at this point). The last service visit was 4/29/2018, taking 4 months to resolve the issue.
Fast forward into early 2019, washer is making noises again... I call Whirlpool service, Whirlpool tells me the washer is out-of-warranty, even though they extended my warranty for another year due to multiple visits required to fix the washer. At this point, I have not got 1 full year of life out the washer without a service call required or washer operating with failing componentry. I communicated with Whirlpool analyst that I have not received good value from this product, but I am told that I am on my own to foot the bill for any repairs..
Listen to attached video for the noise level coming from the washer now.... I will not be buying a Whirlpool product again...

Just bought one. I wonder if this is manufactured right. The bleach compartment on the rear right side has no water sprayer over it, or anything visible to get the bleach out of its compartment. How does the bleach get to the clothes?

Installed as a stack with dryer and started up and it makes a horrible screaming noise. De-stacked and removed covers and turned by hand, something grinding between the inner drim and the plastic tub motor assembly. Service is over a week wait. Brand new sitting in bathroom for a week waiting.

I love everything about this washer. It's energy efficient, quiet, clean, does a great job. My only complaint would be that occasionally a sock gets stuck under the rubber seal at the door, but other than that, a fantastic washing machine!

IDENTICAL. THIS IS A G...
This is our second Whirlpool front loader and replaces our duet. They look identical. This is a good basic model washing machine. No frills which is exactly what we wanted. We are a family of five, three adults two teenage boys. I wash twice a week so this is my work horse machine. It uses very little water, (a good thing) we noticed a 50% savings when switched to front loaders. That's a big deal when you pay for water and sewage. Final spin is between 1200 and 1300 rpms cutting down on drying time and saving us even more on the electric bill. As far as stain removal its average. Deep stains will need to be pretreated with your favorite stain removal product and elbow grease. The normal cycle setting takes 35-40 minutes. I love that! The soap dispenser on this machine leaves very little water in it. Thats a big improvement from from the duet we had, it left the the bleach and fabric softener full of water, that leads ro mildew if you aren't careful. Finally the jingle at the end of the cycle is cute and preferable to the buzzer of old. In conclusion I like this machine. It gets the job done quickly and efficiently.
