I love my french door refrigerator with water in the door. Use this feature all the time. Only problem is the vegetable drawers don't stay on the track and sit lopsided frequently. Both have cracked. Freezer is hard to clean under the drawer without taking out the drawer alltogether. Otherwise it is great.

We've had this refrigerator repaired three times in five years. The fan in the freezer frosted over and had to be replaced within the first three years. During an extremely hot July several years ago, the refrigerator stopped working and we had to use coolers with ice until it was repaired. The expensive water filters never work correctly for more than a month and the water becomes a trickle, so we abandoned using them and it works much better. Is this part of the planned obsolescence of the design, to screw the consumer into buying them continuously? The ice maker is unreliable and has problems from time to time. All in all, I am completely dissatisfied and will be buying another refrigerator brand once this antiquated crap box gasps its last.

I bought this refrigerator on 10-29-2018 and it was delivered on 11-2-2018 from Home Depot. I also purchased a 5 yr. warranty good till 11-2-2023. They have honored the protection plan on 6-22-22.

We've had problems with this refrigerator. Ice maker wouldn't work, twice in two years, once in July during a heat wave, water dispenser failed and was misdiagnosed by repair facility, and door shelves on right brush against center rubber door seal, making closing the door harder.

This refrigerator is junk. A piece of plastic broke off the right side door. I was told I have to replace the door for $688. I have talked with customer service, you did not take the extended warranty, so nothing we can do. I also sent an email to a director asking for assistance, no response. I am 77 years old, on social security, and can't afford a new door on a cheaply made product. I can close the door after lifting it up and sliding it into place, a little difficult for me. This was my first Whirlpool appliance, I will not buy another.

We have been very happy with the refrigerator until a couple of weeks ago when the ice cube dispenser stopped making ice cubes. Cost of repair is estimated at $300.00. Not impressed any more.

The refrigerator isn't what we thought, quite disappointing. We've had several problems: leaking from ice maker, the front door now hangs so that it doesn't close properly & you need to push upwards to close. All in all not the product we thought we were getting.

I have had this refrigerator for 5 years. Fortunately I bought an extended warranty. The ice maker broke. One of the doors needed to be replaced. These were covered. The warranty has now expired and the other door has worn out at the bottom hinge. The door will cost me close to $700. I am living with a refrigerator that now has a door open most of the time, unless we baby sit the closing of each door. I was not happy with the quality of this refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator and it only lasted 3 years before totally going out and ruining all my food .
After literally 4 hours on the phone with them,, Whirlpool offered me 40 percent off of a new full priced refrigerator if bought on their crappy website which is not user friendly... all the 30 inch wide refrigerators were out of stock . I have been without a refrigerator for weeks now and if I order a new one on their website it would take 6vweeks to a few months to get it delivered to me, that's if anything cones into stock.

It has been very problematic, i had call the technician for 3 or four times since I bought it. Last week call again for repair but the warranty had already expired. Call a different technician and change a part and the refrigerator still did not work, he said the a special technician has to come to fixed cause there is a blockage in the CO2 system. i will very happy if you can recommend a tech to fixed my refrigerator " clear the co2 blockage" thanks.

Purchased this Whirlpool 30-inch French Door Refrigerator, WITHOUT EXTERIOR WATER DISPENSER, Had to replace the interior icemaker. after which there was a refrigerant leak and this was remedied by adding refrigerant with a "leak seal". Now it is leaking again and we were told it would cost $1,000, to replace the compressor. So out you go. Never again!

The untimely death of mine before its second birthday has nothing to do with Whirlpool: the motorhome manufacturer installed a latch over a faceplate that traverses the mid-front where all three doors meet. Beneath their latch myriad cracks developed and began shedding freon into our coach interior.
Newmar, the coach maker, insisted the coolant lines are nowhere near their proprietary aftermark latch installed on each Newmar Dutch Star, so I did a "fridge autopsy" to demonstrate otherwise, and then sent the cross-section to Whirlpool for engineering analysis.

There is just the two of us and the convenience of the refrigerator being side by side gives us easy access to everything plus the bottom freezer hold so much food ! After living with a side-by-side refrigerator for 21 years and complaining every summer about how the minute you open the door, the cold all falls out... Especially the freezer.
It's wonderful the way this new refrigerator is designed, that the freezer drawer does not spill it's cold and the French doors minimize the amount of spill when opened.

Having a side by side for 21 years I often berated it for it's weakness: Open the doors and the cold falls out. This unit is well designed and eliminates that. Therefore, it's #1 in my rating. My Stars rating will have to be minimal since I've only had the unit for weeks.

This refrigerator was bought for a brand new condo. The wire that controls the ice production snapped right off when I opened the drawer, attached to the plastic. The refrigerator was empty at the time. It must of got caught on the ice. Poor design! Now I am trying to figure out how to get it fixed. Very upset! Whirlpool please contact me!

I have a smaller house, so I mainly picked this fridge because it would fit through the door, while giving me the other features I was looking for. It has the perfect amount of storage for me - and I can see everything so food doesn't get forgotten before it needs to be used. We connected the water ourselves and the process was very straightforward. Overall, I'm a happy customer.

I purchased this appliance over the summer and finally had it installed 2 weeks ago. It's a nice looking refrigerator and I'm very happy with it. The only thing I don't like is that the top tray slides out every time I open the freezer and I'm not sure if it's supposed to or if it's getting stuck on the items under it. If it is designed to slide out automatically I would rather it stay closed until I pull it out when needed.

Had this fridge for about 6 weeks now. The size is great for small household for me it™™s just my boyfriend and I so it™™s perfect size. However I™™ve already had to have somebody come fix it since it stopped working due to ice build up and the fan not working.

This is a nice fridge but it doesnt fit tall items like orange juice and soda. The highest shelf is too short. The door shelves dont fit anything tall either. You cant hardly get a pizza in the freezer because its divided. Other than that I really like it.
